Generation 4 begins

Hello, everyone. This is Chloe Forbes. The past few years have been so kind to us. I have a great job as a lieutenant in the Bailey's Ravine police force and Sean is steadily working towards his dream of becoming a celebrity chef. Soon after our wedding we discovered I was pregant! Apparently I was pregnant at the wedding and didn't even realize it! Everyone was so happy about the upcoming baby. I took some time off work in order to rest. The pregnancy was pretty easy though, I was just tired a lot.

Here's a picture of me while pregnant. I'm in the dining room, of course. I was always in there eating something.

The baby came a bit earlier than expected. We had a home birth with a midwife just like we wanted. Soon Sean and I welcomed our baby girl, Eileen Cheryl Forbes, after grandma Cheryl. She has red hair - either from her daddy or Grandma Cheryl, we don't know - and she has my blue eyes.

Everyone just had to hold her and play with her as soon as possible.

Mom and Dad are very happy. They are helping me out a lot by taking care of Eileen at night. Sean works until after 10, which is when I need to go to bed, so they are being really great helps to us by handling night time feedings. We have Nanny Calista during the day to help out.

Before we realized, it was Eileen's birthday. We had cake and ice cream for her after supper.

She is such a smart toddler. This light just seems to come into her eyes whenever she sees something new. She is very curious. She loves to play with my old toddler toys. I'm glad Mom didn't get rid of them.

So that's what we've been up to. People have asked if we're having another child, but we aren't sure yet. Sean and I are discussing it, but our dreams are mostly based around our careers. We do love our family, but we also need to be able to work and study. But once we've decided about another child we'll let everyone know.

From the Simmer in Charge - My son's Blog

My son decided he wanted to start a blog about a family he has created. He's not playing by Legacy rules, he's just playing for fun. I helped with create a photobucket account and a blog. Here is the link:

The Nature Family

The story is totally his. He dictated it for me and I typed for him. He knows the pictures are not the best but he said he'll take more time for some good angles next time. He wants the pictures and the story to be well documented.

I hope anyone reading this would be willing to read his as well. He's happy to be able to share his story online.

Chloe's Wedding

Readers, I am so happy! Today was my wedding day! I married the man I know I'm supposed to be with - Sean McGraw!

I just couldn't believe that it hadn't been clearer to me sooner. I mean, I thought I was in love with Michael. I thought we were going to get married. Do you know what Michael did, though? He came to my wedding with a date! And he said he was happy for me finding someone else because he never wanted to get married. He just wanted to run around with as many women as he could before he died! Isn't that just terrible?

I guess the dream was telling me not to marry Michael. I'm so glad I paid attention to what my subconsious was trying to say.

I really love Sean. He's so handsome, especially with the new haircut and clothes the bought for the wedding. He's just like me - he wants to have a bunch of friends and have parties, but he wants a family too. His dream job is to be a celebrity chef. My honey on TV, wouldn't that be something? And I bet he wouldn't catch anything on fire like that lady on the Yummy Channel.

Anyway, here are our wedding photos. It was a pretty short ceremony because I had to work that day and was so tired. I tried drinking some coffee but it didn't help much. I ended up skipping the honeymoon ride in the limo and going to bed. But we still had a good time eating and toasting and kissing :)

We married in the family chapel where mom and dad were married, under the arch at the big window.

Our wedding kiss was magical : )

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Everyone kept making toasts to us, wishing us good health and a loving family. We kissed a lot at the reception.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Sean actually fed me cake with a fork instead of shoving it into my mouth like at my mom and dad's wedding.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Something really freaky happened, though, after the reception. I was heading to my bedroom when I saw something...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I don't believe in ghosts, but Dad told me that since Grandma and Grandpa are buried next to the family chapel that they haunt the house, usually right after a wedding or when someone new moves in. I don't know what to think about that. I don't want a bunch of ghosts flying around and scaring people.

That night, sleeping in my room with Sean, I felt safe and happy. Nothing, not even a ghost, would scare me anymore.

Chloe's Dream

Readers, last night I had the strangest dream.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I was sleeping soundly when I dreamed I was getting married. I couldn't tell who it was. It was like his face was masked, almost like it had been pixelized in Photoshop. I kept feeling this wonderful feeling of happiness and pure joy. However, underneath that feeling was a feeling of dread almost, like the person in this dream was going to break my heart and hurt me, even though I loved him deeply.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Was it Michael, by first love from college? I had heard that he started dating someone else after I left college, but he still called me and said he cared about me. Or could it be Sheldon, one of my dearest friends? Sheldon had let me know on a few occasions that he liked me and would like to be more than just friends.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I woke up very confused. I know I want to get married and have children. I need to keep the Forbes family legacy going. I'm just not sure who I want to marry right now.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

***Later that day***

Readers, guess who came over for lunch? Another friend of mine, Sean, from college. He ate lunch with me, Mom, and Dad.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

We spent the day together. I've never been happier! We went out to the hot tub together after Mom and Dad went to bed. He kissed me!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Now I'm even more confused. Could the dream have been about Sean? When I look at him, there is just something about him that intrigues me.

**Next morning**

Readers, I know what to do. I know who I'm supposed to marry!

Who Will Chloe Marry? ** Updated **

I had a hiccup last night while playing and Chloe's wedding is gone :( So I decided to start over with it and let readers vote for whom she should marry. You can vote by making a comment. I'll make sure you don't have a have a blogger account to leave a comment.

I won't tell you who I had her marry yesterday :) We'll keep that a secret to see how things work out.

You need to know that Chloe never really fell in love with anyone specific at college. She has a crush on Michael Love and they kissed, but she also wants to be friends with a few other guys.

I'm also torn between making it another NPC or a college friend since I get points for NPC only.

Choices include:

Michael Love, college crush
Sheldon, mail carrier at college
Sean, member of secret society
Delivery Person
Firefighter
Gardner
Policeman - She met one at college
Headmaster
Repair Person
Shop Clerk
Professor Andrew McGraw
Bartender
Someone else?

I have a list from the score sheet excel file, but I don't know if Cheerleaders, Mascots, Professors or Streakers count as an NPC.

I'll leave voting open till Monday evening so if I play again this weekend I'll go ahead and have her get a job or something instead of getting married.

***Update***

Below are pictures of the 3 main choices. These are people she has a good friends relationship with. Michael Love is her college crush, but they are not engaged.

This is Michael Love:

Here is Sheldon, the mail carrier:

And here is Sean, a member of the secret society:

She has met other NPCs like Mitch the delivery person and so on but they don't have a good relationship. These are characters she could marry the next time I play.

I know the date on this is for Monday. I dated it in the future to keep it on top of the blog.

I'm not going to have the house at college go greek. My founder, Mark, didn't found a greek house so I wouldn't get any points for it. I just wanted them out of the dorms and by having to cook and so some cleaning and fixing things it helps the kids gain skills.

Generation 3 at College

College has been loads of fun. Mom and Dad surprised us. Instead of living in a dorm, they bought a house just off campus for us to use! Uncle Bobby moved in with us as well, so we had a guy's room and a girl's room. The house was big enough for us all and we had a good time there.

In between lessons I met people and played pool with Uncle Bobby. He was really great.

I met this really cute guy named Michael. Isn't he dreamy? I love his hair in that ponytail.

Daphne and Pierce also met some people they really liked. Both of them snagged a professor! Daphne even got engaged to hers!

Uncle Bobby soon graduated and left us at the house.

One night during my senior year I was woken up at midnight by this strange girl. She handcuffed me and walked me outside where a limo was sitting at the curb. I remembered Dad saying something about this secret club he was a member of. Could this be it?

The limo pulled up in front of this enormous castle and a guy named Sean came out to greet me. Then I saw my friend Armando and some other people I hadn't met before.

"Hello, Chloe," Armando said. "Welcome to the secret society. You are now one of us, like your father before you."

They all whooped and hollered as Armando gave me a blazer like the one he wears.

I spent some time at the society using all of the neat gadgets they have their. I thought I would help my grades a bit, but I got caught :(

Soon it was time to graduate! Mom came to my party. She was thrilled to have all 3 kids graduating! It was her lifetime dream. Mom said she's going to put our graduation pictures next to the ones of Grandpa and Dad in the scrapbook.

Before heading back home to Bailey's Ravine I put on this pretty dress. Isn't it lovely?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Pierce and Daphne grew up too and headed off. They are going to live with Uncle Bobby next door to us.

Mom greeted me with a hug when I got to the house. I saw they had made some changes.

Goodbye Mark Forbes

Mark Forbes, a retired surgeon well-known to Bailey's Ravine, passed away yesterday at his home on Forbes Road. He was laid next to his wife, Cheryl, a well-known scientist, in the family plot on their land. Dr. Forbes was known to the community as a good man who donated much of his wealth to charity. He is survived by 2 sons, Adam Forbes, who lives at the family estate on Forbes Road, and Bobby, currently a graduate student at Academie Le Tour near Sim City. He is also survived by daughter-in-law Kaylynn Forbes and 3 grandchildren, Chloe, Pierce and Daphne Forbes, who are freshman also at Academie Le Tour. A memorial service will be held next week for friends of Dr. Forbes at the family chapel.

Generation 3 Goes to College

Hey, Forbes fans, it's Chloe! I'm so happy to share this news with everyone! I'm about to head off to college! Woo Hoo! Finally, a chance to make a lot of friends and dance and play pool, and learn some stuff, I guess. I want to be a police officer when I leave school. But I thought it was so neat that I got a scholarship for playing pool! And Mom and Dad said I was wasting time! I also got a scholarship for having an A report card, so I guess it wasn't too bad.

Little bro and little sis will be heading out with me too. Daphne was so smart she graduated early from high school and got 3 scholarships! She got one for good grades, one for communication and one for her creativity. She and Pierce do love to play their music. Pierce also got one for good grades, that was a given, and also one for creativity. He should have gotten the one for pool too, he played with me all the time.

Here are some pictures from their birthday parties. Pierce is a cutie, and Mom says Daphne looks a lot like grandma Cheryl.

Oh, yea - here's one of me :) I love this outfit!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Mom and Dad also had birthdays. Man, they got old! But Mom still has that attitude :)

Well, taxi is on it's way, so I'm outahere! We're all going to Academie Le Tour like Grampa Mark and Grandma Cheryl and Dad did. We even got rooms in Dad's dorm. Dad says that uncle Bobby is still there. He's getting a graduate degree or something, so we'll finally get to meet him. I can't wait to meet everyone there. Dad already introduced me to 3 of his best college buddies and they said their kids are now going to school there. They gave me their phone numbers so I'll have someone to call as soon as I get there. This is going to be great!

**Chloe is popularity aspiration, LTW is to be Captain Hero. Pierce is family, not sure about Daphne yet. I won't be playing them out right away though. I'm thinking of a story line called "The Spare Heirs" to play out when this one is done.**
