Fun at College

From simmer in charge - While Frank is searching for his father, I thought I'd show what the Kody boys are up to at college. I'm playing Frank only, not the twins. I have only selected them a few times - to choose a major that I rolled for instead of looking at wants and to make them do an assignment at least once per semester. Even by doing this they are doing well and even made Bs during the first part of freshman semester!

They play together a lot:

Both boys had a fight with Eileen when she came to visit:

And they paint and play the computer:

They also clean a lot, so I'm not really worried about their skill building. They seem to be doing fine left on their own :) The only thing is that they don't like to go to bed. They stay up all night and go to bed at 7am. They get up just before having to leave for class. For some reason there is 1 bed that no one likes to sleep in. I tested it with Frank and it's accessible, just no one sleeps there. Henry will sleep in 1 bed in the room, then Greg will sleep in Frank's bed in his room after Frank has left for the day. It's very strange.

Frank's Search Begins

My name is Franklin Sean Forbes. My mother is Eileen Forbes Lam, heiress to the Forbes family estate. She tells me I am the heir of the estate. But I don't know if I want to be the heir. Before I can decide that, I need to find out who my father is.

My mom loves guys. She makes no secret of it, even though it bothered me and my half-brothers. I like my brothers, but sometimes I'm jealous of them because they know who their dad is. They live with him, they have a relationship with him. I have no clue where I came from. I need to know that about myself.

I recently moved from my mom's house - I can't seem to think of it as mine - and I'm attending college at Academie La Tour, the same college my mom and all my relatives have attended. The family has a house here. It's kept up by various college students over time so that it's not neglected. This year, though, the house sitter has left for the semester, so it's just me and my half-brothers, Greg and Henry, living here.

I decided to start the search for my father here on campus. My mom was a recent graduate when she became pregnant with me, so I thought that I may get some answers while here.

I started with one of my professors. She remembered Mom, but wasn't sure who she was dating while in college. "Although you do look very familiar to me," she told me.

I also spoke to Goopy Boyle. He's a few years older than me and is a 2nd year senior here at Academie La Tour. He makes money as the mascot for the school team. He dated my mom for a while when I was a kid. Yep, my mom dated a guy only a few years older than me. How sad is that? I asked him if he knew anything about who may possibly be my dad, but I think he was confused.

"Your dad? Dude, I'm like only 4 years older than you!"

"No, Goopy. Do you remember Eileen, my mom? Do you know who she may have dated before I was born? Did she ever mention anyone in particular?"

"Yeah, man, I remember Eileen. She's hot!"

"Goopy, that's my mom."

"Oh, right, Dude. Let's see, I know she dated a bunch of guys, we weren't exclusive, ya know. But ya know, kid, you were about 14 or so when I dated your mom, so I don't think I can tell you anything, really."

"Okay, thanks Goopy."

"But you do look kinda familiar. Let me think it over and get back to you."

So the Professor and Goopy both think I look familiar? I wonder why? My dad must be someone at the college then, since 2 people at the college think I look similar to someone.

Mom did give me a list after I asked her to. She didn't really want to, but her therapist said it may do her some good to face all the men she'd been with. I think I have the list narrowed down to 5 men -

and Armando Johnson, her old roommate.

Dominique is the guy she just married. They were college sweethearts, but I don't think he's my dad. I'll talk to him anyway, then I need to track down the rest and speak to them.

Eileen's Wedding

I cannot believe how long it took this pictures to come back from the photographer! I will never hire that person ever again!

The ceremony and reception were so beautiful. It was such a lovely wedding. Dom wrote his vows for me himself. It was very romantic.

At the reception we danced for a long time. Our first dance was a slow waltz to our favorite song. Then we danced the Smustle with Dom's friend, Erin.

The cake and food were fabulous! I really need to use that caterer again. Dom was really surprised when I shoved the cake in his mouth!

We drank cider at the wedding since I was determined to continue with my abstinance from alcohol. We had some lovely toasts given by our friends.

Unfortunately, only Greg showed up at the wedding, and not even as a guest. He came and ate before asking me for money. He felt that I had sent him away to live with his poor father, but that wasn't true. I was paying for his college tuition and was helping his father with child support. Greg doesn't know all of that, though. We talked for a while and I gave him some money before he went back to college.
