Inpatient Care

After a few days at home with my babies and hearing the good news that my attacker, Dagmar Bertino, was captured, I arrived Bailey's Ravine Medical Center for inpatient care to help my drinking problem.

I've been here for 3 weeks now. I hate not seeing my babies during this time, but I know that Mom and Nanny Calista, plus any other help she can get, will do fine. Mom really wants me to get better.

I spend my days mostly doing the same things over and over.

I work out...

And I rest in my room...

I also like to sit out front and watch the fountain.

Even though I've given up drinking, I can't seem to give up men. I met Amin in the hospital weight room.

Last Saturday we had a free day. I spent some time with my kids and Mom, then Amin took me to a 50's diner for dinner before I went back to the hospital. We had a good time. We talked, ate, played pool and danced to music from the jukebox.

I called Wyatt and told him about the boys. He agreed to come over when I got home and meet them.

I only have a week left here. Hopefully I'll be good as new when time to go home.

How did I miss this blog? I love a good mystery, and that was certainly a good mystery. Good thing Chloe's quitting the drinking, now let's hope she can settle down with one man! Keep up the good work :)

Well ... I guess as long as the men don't come FIRST ... over her children I mean ... I guess it's okay. But she's an alcoholic. A friend of mine is writing a story about an alcoholic who was in a program ... and until they're sober for a year (or was it a year and a half) they aren't allowed to have "social relations" with the opposite sex. ;O))

I don't know if it would be good for an addict to hook up with another addict. Seems like if one fell off the wagon, it could cause the other to have a relapse as well.
