Suspicious Attack at Forbes Residence

Is someone attacking the Forbes family of Bailey's Ravine, or is the city under a crime wave?

Two nights ago at approximately 3 a.m. Chloe Forbes reported to the Bailey's Ravine PD that she heard her daughter, Eileen, come home from a date. Suddenly, there was a loud noise and Mrs. Forbes heard a scream. She rushed outside to find her daughter on the ground near the mailbox, wounded by a possible gunshot.



Mrs. Forbes contacted the paramedics and the police from her daughter's cellphone, then applied CPR until the paramedics arrived. Eileen Forbes was taken to Bailey's Ravine Medical Center, the same hospital where her father died after a mysterious attack just the week before.

Chloe Forbes released a statement to the paper this morning stating that Eileen was in stable, but critical condition and that prayers and good wishes are welcome from all residents of Bailey's Ravine. Mrs. Forbes concluded with the statement, "Eileen is a strong girl. I know she'll pull through this. Thank you to everyone for your support."

The police are investigating this attack on Eileen Forbes as well as the mysterious death of Sean Forbes, who died on the premises just one week ago. The police will not confirm if they believe the attacks are connected.
