Forbes Family Menace Captured

An arrest was made today in the case of the mysterious death of Sean McGaw Forbes and the shooting of his daughter, Eileen Forbes.

The culprit was none other than mail carrier Dagmar Bertino.

The police have investigated the death of Mr. Forbes since it occured, even after the coroner closed the case as an accidental death. Only a week after Mr. Forbes' death, his daughter was mysteriously shot just outside her home. The police have continued to watch the house and noticed the mail carrier acting in a suspicious manner.

"She was constantly looking at the house. She would deliver the mail, then just stop and stare at it. Chloe and Eileen Forbes then started complaining to the police about threatening letters they had received. The police never suspected Dagmar at first. We did take her fingerprints in order to clear them from the envelope the letters were mailed in. Imagine our surprise when we found them on the paper inside the envelope as well."

Eileen Forbes made this statement from her home. "I do not know what Dagmar has against my family. She was an aquaintance of my father's and as such we were always polite to her. I don't know why she would wish us harm. However, justice has now been served, and I can now rest easier knowing that my life and the life of my family is no longer in jeopardy."

Eileen Forbes realeased this photo she found among her father's possessions. "I remember her being at the party, but she was very nice to me. After I found this photo, though, I didn't know what to think. That's why I gave it to the police."

Dagmar's trial is set for next month. She could be sentenced to 15 years in SimState Prison.

We will have an exclusive interview with Dagmar in tomorrow's issue.

Here are photos of Dagmar in her cell and speaking to officials at SimState Prison. Her attorney, George Law, was present with her during questioning.
