Eileen Forbes Diary Entry 2
I waited as long as I could to tell mom about the baby. She knows I've been through a lot, but she doesn't really approve of my lifestyle. What upsets her more is that since the attack I seem to be worse. She feels I'm on a mission, looking for love in all the wrong places and all that.
Anyway, once my belly started showing I had to tell her. She was calm, like she always is. She's happy about having a grandchild, but she does wish the circumstances were different.
Mom wasn't happy about me continuing to date while pregnant. Not many men will date a woman who's about to have a child, but apparently Brandon didn't have a problem with it.
"Pregnant women are s-o-o-o hot," he said. "You have this glow about you and it makes you sexier than ever."
We talked and danced in the club room on the property. Then he spent the night with me.
The baby is due soon. I don't know what I'm going to do. Mom is in trouble at work due to the ongoing investigations. She could quit her job, but she doesn't want to just yet. I want to sleep all the time. I went ahead and quit my job as an artist. I don't really want to do anything, really. I just want to be with the guys who say they love me. Mom says that my life will have to change once the baby is born. I told her no way! No kid is going to get in my way of living how I want to live! We have the money - I'll have nannies here to take care of the kid so I can do what I want when I want.

Aww, I hope Eileen at least will pay some attention to the soon to be born bub :(
Oh dear. That doesn't sound good at all. Eileen doesn't seem to be bonding with her unborn child. She seems to only really care about herself. I hope that once the child is born she'll get a little ounce of maternal instinct. Otherwise ... I'm gonna be worried.
