Kira's Missing!

"Hello?" I answered the phone, expecting one of my friends to be on the other end.



"Is this Lorelai Forbes Charvatt?" a strange voice asked me.

"Yes, it is. May I help you?"

"Do you know where your daughter is?" Then I heard a loud click sound in my ear. I paused for only a moment before calling for my daughter.



"Kira!" I yelled, running through the house and upstairs to her room.

"What's wrong, Lorelai?" Robi, my husband, asked me.

"I just got a strange phone call. They asked if I knew where Kira was. Have you seen her today?" I asked him, worried.

"She said she was going to play with a friend, I forget which one. Let's start calling them, I'm sure we'll find her." Robi tried to reassure me, but I was already very upset.

"Okay, let's do that." I tried to be calm, but fear showed itself in my voice.
